Although the skyline is impressive, BBK's traffic is usually at stand still at best of times, except for the river traffic. Slim boats fitted with old car engines (mainly Toyota's) are the business. The bigger boats are fitted with truck diesel engines. Most of the engines (big or small) Loosely mounted on a pivot to the back end of the boats and are turned to change direction, instead of the use of a rudderBKK, with its non ending traffic somehow feels much less polluted than the big cities of the last 3 countries we have visited.
A pesar de lo impresionante y moderno del paisaje urbano de Bangkok,la ciudad padece de un permanente atasco de trafico, excepto en lazona del rio. Embarcaciones muy ligeras y estilizadas, y movidas conviejos motores de coche (la mayoria Toyota) son las que "parten elbacalao" en el rio.
