From London to Bali Indonesia on a YAMAHA TDM900, 42,000km

We spent just over 3 weeks in Pakistan (3010km) and was a great welcoming relief from Iran in terms of food. Food in Pakistan is great and we did not get sick either (that was really something as we did eat at some interesting places!). The Pakistanis have been very friendly, including at the official level.
The price of fuel is around a $ 1.00 per liter of petrol, although there are plenty of posh looking retail stations including Shell and Total, the quality of fuel is suspicious.
The pace of traffic might be less hectic than that of Iran but it is like a herd of wildebeest chased by lions, just comes and goes in all possible directions.
The variety of landscape, like in Turkey, changes dramatically from region to region and it is quite an involving place to ride through.
